Specialist Risk Group accelerates digital transformation with WNS and Novidea

SRG announcement

Specialist Risk Group (SRG) today announced plans to transform its back-office operations by engaging WNS as its implementation partner, in collaboration with leading broking platform provider Novidea.

Following the appointment of Warren Downey as Group CEO in August 2019, SRG (owners of Miles Smith, The Underwriting Exchange, Square Mile Broking, David Codling and Associates, and Insolvency Risk Services) is fast emerging as a key player within the market. Following a spree of successful acquisitions during 2020, SRG is now taking decisive steps to accelerate its digital infrastructure transformation.

Lee Anderson, Group COO at SRG said: “We aim to provide our broker partners, insurer partners, and clients with the best possible experience. With WNS and Novidea we can now do exactly that. Working together we will ensure that SRG is at the forefront of digital transformation in the London Market, in line with Lloyd’s recently announced Blueprint two.

“We have a set criterion for our acquisition pipeline, which includes the full integration of all acquired businesses into our Group. Novidea and WNS enable us to do this seamlessly.”

SRG is working with WNS, a leading provider of global Business Process Management services, to phase out legacy applications and transform its back-office operations. Also, by implementing a cloud-based, data-first platform from leading provider Novidea, SRG will be able to drive greater efficiency, insight, and growth across the business.

As a strategic partner, WNS is well-positioned to enable SRG’s transformation journey by providing process optimisation, greater data transparency and unlocking actionable business insights.

The Novidea platform provides brokers and MGAs a complete ecosystem that covers every aspect of an insurance business. By leveraging cloud-based technology, the platform enables broking on the move, with instant access to all client data and actionable intelligence, from any device, anywhere, 24/7.
